Product Overview
Winery's Notes:
"The Santa Barbara County Syrah has long been the insiders' favorite at Piedrasassi. This Syrah benefits primarily from a declassification of the wines sourced from noteworthy single-vineyard throughout the county. Crafted and blended to be enjoyed in its youth, the P.S. Syrah pairs well with just about anything from the grill and is most delicious when served slightly chilled."

92 Points - Wine Advocate
"The 2021 Syrah Santa Barbara County is scented of black raspberries, candied blackberries, cracked pepper, smoked meats and green olive. The medium-bodied palate is bright and chalky with restrained yet nuanced fruit and a long, latent finish. I would be inclined to drink it on the earlier side after a couple hours in a decanter, and its freshness will allow it to pair widely at the table. 2,436 cases produced." -EB, 12/29/23

"The 2021 Syrah (Santa Barbara County) is fabulous. Super-ripe dark cherry, plum, mocha, black pepper, herbs, incense and tobacco all build in this racy, almost shockingly opulent young Syrah. This dense, juicy Syrah is lights out. The 30% stems are pretty much buried by the fruit." -AG, Jul/2023
