90 Points - Vinous
"Brilliant ruby. Mineral-accented aromas of fresh dark berries and potpourri carry a spicy topnote. Pliant blackberry and bitter cherry flavors put on weight with air and develop a floral pastille nuance on the back half. Shows good power and lift on a long, spicy finish framed by slow-building tannins." -JR, Feb/2016
89 Points - Wine Enthusiast
"Hints of fragrant violet, granite and anise accent juicy blackberry and cassis in this wine. The palate balances plush, fleshy black fruit against fresh acidity and fine-grained but tacky, persistent tannins. The finish is warming and bold." -ALI, 5/1/18
