Splinter Group Spirits Rye Whiskey is blend of rye whiskeys up to 7 years old that is then aged in former Napa red wine barrels of French Oak. The barrels previously held Selyem Pinot Noir and other Napa Cabernet Sauvignon wines to give the already fantastic whiskey notes of wood smoke, earthiness, and notes of caramelized sugar & candied fruit. The rye and mash balance the palate with notes of citrus and spice, for a well rounded sipping whiskey.
