"Yalumba produces several tiers of Cabernet wines from its Menzies Estate vineyard in Coonawarra, and the 2017 Sanctum Cabernet Sauvignon represents the lowest of those tiers. It keeps any vegetal notes at bay, showing just hints of mint and sage, some earthy notes and cassis fruit. Medium-bodied, smooth and streamlined, it's not terribly concentrated or long on the finish, but it offers an easy introduction to Coonawarra Cab at a realistic price." -JC, 8/31/21
