"The 2018 Brunello di Montalcino shows a lean to mid-weight style with easy cherry, cassis and purple fruits. The bouquet is quite up front and not especially deep or complex. But the wine does deliver bright fruit and a food-friendly, accessible style. These results are a bit thinner and shorter than expected, but they would do the trick with breaded veal steaks or pork chops. Some 14,000 bottles were made." -ML, 3/9/23
