Odd Breed Squib Cakes is blended from two golden ales brewed with imported floor-malted Pilsner, raw wheat, malted rye, and aged hops. After aging for several months in French oak puncheons, Squib Cakes is refermented on heaps of wild blueberries. The blueberries lend a deep magenta hue and aromatics of wood and earth. On the palate, Squib Cakes delivers complex tangy fruit notes along a backdrop of intense funk and balanced acidity from the mixed culture. 5.5% ABV.
