Product Overview

Winery's Notes:
"Napa Valley vintner, Randy Dunn, whose reputation for producing world-class Cabernet Sauvignon spans more than four decades, brings his artistry and expertise to Washington State.

Dark and concentrated in color with depth that’s consistent with its intense flavor profile and texture. A generous wine that offers ripe black fruit character, notes of fresh plums and a hint of dried herbs. The mouthfeel has structure and richness that mingles with elegant tannins to create a complex, fully integrated impression. Drinking beautifully in its youth, this wine also has enough tannin and bright fruit to benefit from a long life in the cellar."

Varietal Composition: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon
Appellation: Columbia Valley AVA
Aging: 22 months in French oak barrels, 85% new
Production: 3,840 cases
Winemaker: Randy Dunn

95 Points - Jeb Dunnuck
"All Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Feather is a rich, powerful wine loaded with notions of cassis, graphite, scorched earth, and crushed stone. Full-bodied on the palate and concentrated, it has building tannins, a great mid-palate, and the balance and class to benefit from 4-5 years of bottle age and, I suspect, evolve for decades." -JD

94 Points - Vinous
"Dark and exotic in the glass, the 2019 Feather, a varietal Cabernet Sauvignon, impresses with a burst of dusty rose and black raspberries lifted by a hint of fresh mint. This is supremely elegant, with silky textures and wild berry fruit underscored by saline-minerals and silty coating tannins forming toward the close. The Feather displays its heroic structure through the finale, tapering off with tremendous length, as notes of sweet tobacco and lavender slowly fade. While this is youthfully poised today, the 2019 will pay dividends in the cellar." -EG, Oct/2022

93 Points - Wine Spectator
"Refined and keenly structured, with expressive blackberry, mocha and dusky spices that take on tension toward broad-shouldered tannins. Drink now through 2030. 3,840 cases made." -TF, 3/31/23
