Winery's Notes:
"The Whole Bunch Syrah forms part of our Projects Range. These are wines we can get geeky about - interesting, small runs, slightly quirky, but always delicious!
All fruit was hand-picked, lightly crushed, and whole bunch fermented for ten days, pressed and aged in steel tanks (75%) and older barrels (25%) for ten months.
The nose is complex, showing purple flowers, sour figs, dark chocolate and wet earth. Crushed fruits, including blueberry and black cherry, lead on the palate before black olives, cloves, salted liquorice and cured meats. Powdery tannins, fresh acidity and a density of fruit make this a more serious but no less juicy and smashable vintage."

"The 2021 Whole Bunch is pure Shiraz and…whole bunch (obvs). The stems are nicely integrated here with black pepper infused black fruit that feels energetic. The palate is medium-bodied with peppery red and black fruit, taut and fresh with a touch of black olive compote on the finish. I love this - surfeit with freshness and vibrancy.
