Product Overview
The 2020 Domaine Yves Duport Mondeuse Tradition is made from 100% Mondeuse Noire, a very old French grape variety native to the Savoie region that is ampelographically very close to the Syrah grape variety. Hand-harvesting from organically and biodynamically grown vines and vinifying with indigenous yeasts and very low sulfur dosage allows the wine to express the natural characteristics of the grapes. Purple in color, it offers aromas and flavors of red fruits and spices, with a structured mouthfeel that allows the wine to be forgotten in the cellar for about ten years.
