88 Points - Vinous
"The 2017 Barolo del Comune di La Morra is a huge, powerful wine for an estate that has typically made much more understated Barolos. Then again, that is 2017. A burst of black cherry, plum, smoke, scorched earth and licorice gives the 2017 its burly, potent personality. The 2017 is a good wine for drinking over the next few years. Aeration helps the tannins soften a touch, but what remains is a rich, potent expression of La Morra." -AG, Jan/2021
