Product Overview
Winery's Notes:
"Our Sauvignon Blanc comes from a small sandy-gravelly block on our Jardine Vineyard. Although naturally vigorous on the vine, this variety can be sensitive to degradation during winemaking so steps are taken to preserve its fragile varietal characteristics. The grapes for the 2022 vintage were picked and delivered to the winery in the cool morning hours. The fruit was gently pressed and settled with judicious use of inert gas. The wine was then cold fermented in stainless steel tanks to limit oxidation and preserve the aromatics. Following fermentation, the wine was kept on the lees to further enhance the characteristics and mouthfeel.

"The 2020 Sauvignon Blanc Jardine Vineyard impresses with a slightly tropical blend of citrus fruits and sweet florals. It's round and soothing with candied lime and juicy acidity. This finishes crisply refreshing and with admirable length. The 2020 leaves the mouth watering for more." -EG, Mar/2023

"Slightly tart and tarry aromas of grapefruit peel and dust make for a very earthy nose on this bottling. The earthiness carries across the palate, where lime skin flavors also arise." -MK, 12/1/23
