Unlike Calderara Sottana, this wine has a more open and exuberant nose - thanks to the generosity of the lots and lots of volcanic ash present in the Contrada. If Calderara Sottana is a tenor, Santo Spirito is more of a soprano: the freshness is more accentuated, as is the spring liveliness, floral and rich expression of his very fine nature."

"The 2022 Etna Bianco is smoky in the glass, exciting the senses with a burst of crushed rocks and raw almonds before giving way to citrus-stringed peach. It’s soothingly soft and enveloping with weighty textures lifted by vibrant acidity. Masses of mineral-laden orchard fruits and sweet spices collide on the palate.
