"Experience an exquisitely rare and wild whisky with Talisker 45 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Our exceptional whisky has aged over four decades and is finished in ice-fractured casks to reveal new depths of flavor. It's matured in heavily charred American White Oak casks under blasting arctic winds that unearth an unexplored depth of flavor. The casks are exposed to -13F/-25C in British Columbia creating a greater degree of 'ice fracturing.' This is our wildest whisky yet with a unique, untamed flavor, and is a testament to Talisker's adventurous spirit. On the nose are notes of pepper and salt crystals followed by a faint dried fruit complex. On the palate are sweet notes of salt, smoke, and pepper with a long, chili pepper finish. This whisky is best experienced neat or with a little water to accentuate notes of pepper and salt, suggesting salted caramels."
