"From vines planted in the early 1980s, the 2020 Zeltinger Schlossberg GG opens with a clear and coolish, flinty bouquet with dark and very delicate, crushed slate and iodine as well as fruit aromas. Round, lush and elegant on the palate, this is a full-bodied, silky textured, dense yet fine and crystalline, stimulatingly tonic Schlossberg with fine, sustainably saline acidity and mineral tension. This is a mouth-filling yet clear and stimulating-finishing Schlossberg GG with a long aftertaste and rather coolish fruit. Not as exuberant and generous as so many 2020s are in the Middle Mosel. 12.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in July 2022." -SR, 8/25/22
