Product Overview
Winery's Notes:
"2021 brought our Scarlett Petite Sirah to perfection. True to the varietal, the color of this wine can only be described as black which tells you immediately that it means business. Powerful, juicy and expressive with notes of black plum, barrel spice and a unique hint of soil infusion greet the nose. Dark espresso and licorice roll across the palate followed by rich expressive dark fruits giving depth and complexity. Decant this big boy for a few hours if you consume it on release or lay it down for 5-10 years to allow the earthy components to emerge."

"Once the past, and potentially the future, Petite Sirah seems well-adapted to the central and northern sectors of Napa Valley. Scarlett's 2021 Petite Sirah offers up a classic nose of dried spices, star anise, dark chocolate, blackberries and blueberries. It's medium to full-bodied, with a ripe, supple, smooth mouthfeel and silky tannins on a lingering finish. If only more Napa wines of this quality could be found for such a reasonable price. 150 cases produced." -JC, 1/31/24
