A fantastic entry level introduction to grappa, Poggio Basso Grappa del Piemonte is aged briefly in oak and blended from a variety of different grape pomaces and com. Very smooth on the palate, with more grapes , a a hint of cheesiness, and some herbal notes. Excellent as a digestif.
