92 Points - Wine Advocate
"Disgorged in July 2018, this bottle of Gonet-Medeville's NV Brut Premier Cru Tradition is showing very well, bursting from the glass with an expressive bouquet of crisp yellow orchard fruit, honeycomb, dried citrus rind, walnuts and fresh brioche. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, elegantly textural and fleshy, with ripe but racy acids, fine depth at the core and a long, sapid finish. This is a complex Champagne that sees some barrel fermentation." -WK, 4/30/20
91 Points - Wine Spectator
"A harmonious Champagne, well-knit and chalky in texture, with flavors of white cherry, salted almond, cassis and blood orange peel. Creamy finish. Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Drink now. 2,916 cases made, 750 cases imported." -AN, 12/15/22
90 Points - Vinous
"The NV Brut Tradition Premier Cru is a blend of 70% Chardonnay, 25% Pinot Noir and 5% Pinot Meunier picked mostly in Bisseuil, supplemented with Le-Mesnil-sur-Oger and Mareuil-sur-Aÿ. The 2019 base was supplemented by 20% of reserve wine. Creamy sourdough is very shy on the nose, a touch of plum shines through. The palate has lovely concentration and drive, there is ripe freshness and lively, fine but pleasantly prickly mousse. All tapers towards lemon freshness. Gentle chalkiness only adds to that lip-smacking finish that drives the next sip. Very clean finish. Dosage is 4gr/L. Disgorged: January, 2023." -AG, Oct/2023
