Product Overview
The 2019 Franz Gojer Sauvignon Karneid, sourced from the Karneid vineyard, demonstrates classic Alto Adige Sauvignon Blanc flavors: a combination of grapefruit, white peach, and distinct green herbal flavors. Terrific, crisp acidity but very mouth-filling too, it's an excellent seafood wine. This region is one of the world's best places for the Sauvignon Blanc grape, and this is a perfect example.

"The 2019 Sauvignon Karneid from Franz Gojer lifts from the glass with an intense display of smoke, a spritz of lime, grapefruit rinds, savory spice and hints of wet stone. It’s angular in the mouth, cascading tart citrus and salty minerals across the palate, yet with a blend of ripe apple and sweetened lemon that adds a soothing touch. Subtle florals linger, as a twang of nervous acids slowly tapers off, leaving the mouth watering for more." -EG, Nov/2020
