El Ladron is made from a small batch of organic agave from the Jalisco Highlands and created with modern techniques in Santa Cruz, CA. Rested in stainless steel drums, resulting in a clear and rich spirit. It has a sweet taste and a slight caramel flavor. As it opens, the dry mineral character that thins out. There are notes of black pepper and cayenne. Great neat or in a cocktail.
