Product Overview
Winery's Notes:
"The color is a beautiful brilliant garnet.
When young, the nose is still a little closed and requires
decanting. It is then expressed by lots of small red fruits, tart morello cherries, raspberries and some black fruits such as cherry. More complex notes of dried rose petals mingle with discreet spices. Finally, tobacco, black pepper and peppermint complete this beautifully complex nose.
The palate is surprisingly accomplished for a 2021 with these same red fruits and spices very present in a tannic structure with finesse. A delicate sweetness calls for indulgence."
Varietal Composition: Grenache Noir, Syrah, Cinsault, Mourvèdre

"The 2021 Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a blend of 80% Grenache, 10% Syrah, 5% Mourvèdre and 5% Cinsaut. It displays moderately intense aromas of predominantly red fruits, slightly cooked, as well as some leafiness. Medium to full-bodied, the well-structured palate delivers juicy fruit. Balanced by fresh acidity, it concludes with a bright finish." -NG, Apr/2023
