Product Overview
The Bushong 2022 Paso Robles Tannat opens with an inky, nearly opaque hue and an aromatic intensity of blackberry compote, plum, and violet layered with graphite, dark chocolate, espresso, and a touch of cigar box. On the palate it is powerful yet polished, with ripe, firmly structured tannins wrapped around concentrated dark fruit and lifted by hints of pomegranate, licorice, and savory herbs. The texture is dense and mouth-coating, balanced by a mineral edge that adds depth and freshness. A long, evolving finish lingers with notes of cocoa, spice, and black olive, promising both immediate appeal with decanting and excellent cellaring potential.
