Product Overview
Winery's Notes:
"Biodynamically farmed with organic fruit combined from the Trois Lapin, and Bacus estate vineyards in Newberg, Oregon. Both vineyards sit on the same distinct natural geologic formation jutting southward from the Chehalem Mountains AVA. It is an uplifted land mass of unique origin, the soils are marine sedimentary with fine textured deposits from 40-50 million years ago. The parent materials are weathered and are deeper in profile and more finely structured than soils in surrounding areas. The wine was made primarily with a Pommard with a bit of 777 and 115 Dijon Pinot Noir varietals blended in which temper the rustic earthy overtones of Pommard with hints of stawberry and cherry, the mid pallete and finish closes with a hint of pepper, vanilla bean, and allspice."

"This robust Pinot Noir offers sturdy tannins that suggest a mouthful of Irish Breakfast tea. It's aromas and flavors primarily consist of a tangy brambleberry mix, earth and a touch of thyme." -MA, 5/1/23
