Arran 10 year is one of those drams that is perfect for beginners, as a gift, or to just enjoy. Being an Island Scotch, you almost expect it to be like a Talisker, but it's not! Perfectly balanced with citrus fruits on the nose. On the palate just a great hit of rich vanilla sweetness that has a touch of cinnamon-just enough to add a spicy edge to the sweet and soft texture. The finish has a sweetness mixed with citrus, apples, and cinnamon.
