Product Overview
Winery's Notes:
"Celebrating eleven vintages of the beauty we call Tuesday night grace, and what a vintage to bring in the double ones! The long, cool growing season combined with the layers that come with extended hang time allowed for both whole cluster ferments and carbonic fermentation. Our 2023 SBC blend conveys 71% whole-cluster love (our highest percentage yet). Combining five clones planted in nine blocks from five vineyards, this is one dynamically-layered expression of Santa Barbara County love. 11 month èlevage in neutral french 220 and 500L puncheon.
Alban clone: Vie Caprice Vineyard, Thompson Vineyard, Santa Barbara Highlands Vineyard
'Thompson Massale': Thompson Vineyard
Tablas C clone: Santa Barbara Highlands Vineyard (Mesa block)
362 clone: Santa Barbara Highlands Vineyard (J block)
369 clone: Dorigo Family Vineyard
The marriage of all nine picks represents 71% whole-cluster love, 11 months in neutral barrique and puncheon, racked once under July's new moon.
