Product Overview
The non-vintage Veuve Clicquot Brut Rosé is made using 50 to 60 different crus and 30 to 45% of Reserve wines, and is based on Yellow Label's traditional blend: the Pinot Noir predominance (50-55%) provides the structure that is so typically Veuve Clicquot, while Chardonnay (28-33%) adds the elegance and finesse essential in a perfectly balanced wine, and a touch of Meunier (15-20%) rounds out the blend. The blend is then completed with 12% of still red wine using red grapes, providing fruitiness. The long period of aging (3 years minimum for Rosé) lends silkiness to the Champagne. Expressive aromas of very ripe wild strawberries and buiscuity notes lead to a full-bodied, structured, vinous palate which stays fresh. Pair with tuna, beef carpaccio, duck, red fruits, and tomatoes.
Varietal Composition: 50-55% Pinot Noir, 28-33% Chardonnay, 15-20% Pinot Meunier

"Expressive notes of tangerine, yellow peach and cherry fruit is set on the lacy mousse of this fresh and focused rosé Champagne. It's well-balanced, with hints of toast point, anise and lemon thyme adding a savory edge to the finish. Drink now through 2023." -AN, 12/15/20
