"The 2016 Amarone della Valpolicella Classico is perfumed, with pretty shades of violet giving way to nuances of sweet spice, black cherries and clove. This is silky and lifted in feel, leaning toward the savory spectrum with a display of cool-toned black fruits and hints of licorice.
