Product Overview
The 2019 Trombetta Petersen Vineyard Chardonnay, from the mother-and-daughter duo of Rickey Trombetta Stancliff and Erica Stancliff, is a single-vineyard wine sourced from the Sonoma Coast AVA. It is 75% barrel fermented with native yeast, then aged 8 months on its lees in French oak barrels. Crisp aromas of citrus peel, tropical fruit, pineapple, pear blossom, and hints of cream and browned butter lead to a rich, lush palate of impressive density and creaminess but fresh acidity to retain balance.

"Darkly colored, this wine opens in a confectionery aroma of marshmallow, with unctuous layers of tropical fruit, honeycomb and crème brûlée to follow. The rounded creaminess appeals and is boosted by underlying acidity that helps to crisp and complement." -VB 9/1/2021
