The 2020 Torbreck Woodcutter's Semillon begins with citrusy aromas of lemon and lime balanced by quince marmalade. As it ages it will develop complex, French pastry-like notes akin to brioche and lemon curd tart. It is medium bodied on the palate, with kaffir lime and lemon notes balancing vibrant acidity and a cleansing mouthfeel. The lemon butter complexities are a real delight from 5-10 years.
