The 2016 Sparkman Kindred Red Blend is fresh and inviting, with aromas of cherry, mocha, plum, barrel spices, anise, and herb. The fine tannins, soft and generous, wrap around a core of black cherry, mint, pomegranate, and coffee flavors. The new label, launched for the 2015 vintage, features an image of a 275 year-old oak tree in McMinnville, Tennessee, where owner Chris Sparkman's father was born.
