95 Points - Wine Enthusiast
"Winemaker David Ramey sources from both Cole Creek and Rodgers Creek vineyards to make this wine, cofermenting it with 11% Viognier. Crushed rock, garrigue, gamy meat and lavender appear and accent an earthy, full-bodied core of silky texture and luscious dark cherry." -VB, 12/1/20

93 Points - Wine Advocate
"The 2017 Syrah Sonoma Coast is blended with 11% Viognier and comes from Cole Creek and Rodgers Creek vineyards this year. Medium to deep ruby, the aromatics of warm blackberries and blueberries are complemented with lovely notes of pepper, blue flowers, bacon fat, garrigue and mint. It has a medium weight and floods the mouth with concentrated red and blue berry fruits, finely grained and with just enough freshness to lift the finish. 871 cases produced." -EB, 7/23/20

92 Points - Wine Spectator
"Nicely structured and tightly focused, this red offers refined currant, smoked meat and crushed stone accents that pick up tension toward medium-grained tannins. Best from 2022 through 2030. 871 cases made." -TF, 5/31/21

90 Points - Vinous
"The 2017 Syrah (Sonoma Coast) is bold and dense in the glass, with serious depth and concentration driving the red and purplish berry fruit. This bold, dense Syrah will benefit from a few years in bottle, as it is pretty tightly wound at this stage." -AG, Apr/2020
