Petrus Aged Pale is a golden-colored sour beer, 100% aged for 24 months in oak foeders rather than casks so that wood does not become part of the flavor profile. Instead, the permeable wood of the foeder allows for slow, controlled oxidation as well as provides a "breeding ground" for the various micro-organisms that are responsible for the fermentation and created the distinctive and sour aromas and flavors. 7.3% ABV.
