Winemaker's Notes
"Like the rolling hills of Santa Rosa Road, where our namesake vineyard is situated, this wine undulates to express unique aromatics and flavors, given the time. Beginning with darker notes of umami, moss and cedar, this complex wine then reveals a fruitier side, with notes of tart cherry and pomegranate. Bright acid and minerality follow, and a surprisingly smooth dose of tannin finishes off this beautiful wine. A striking representation of how multi-faceted and vineyard-driven Pinot Noir can be, especially with its unique blend of heritage and new age clones."

93 Points - Vinous
"The 2016 Pinot Noir Peake Ranch Vineyard is wonderfully deep, nuanced and expressive. Translucent and yet deeply expressive, the 2016 is incredibly inviting. Rose petal, lavender, and purplish berry fruit flesh out effortlessly. Orange peel, mint and chalk overtones add an attractive upper register that develops over time."
93 Points - Wine Enthusiast
"Earthy aromas of moss and forest floor meet with tarragon and wild strawberries on the exotic nose of this appellation blend. There is a very elegant display on the palate of tart cranberry, sage, bay leaf and plum-skin tang, making for a complete sipping experience." -MK, 5/1/19
