The 2016 Corzano e Paterno I Tre Borri is sourced from estate vineyards on the steep and stony slopes surrounding the fortified farmhouse "Corzano" in San Casciano Val di Pesa. The property runs along the ancient Via Cassia and the River "Pesa" which separates the vineyards from the "Classico" region of Chianti.
Crafted from 100 percent Sangiovese and aged for 25 months, the Tre Borri was previously their Chianti Riserva. Aromas of leather, spice, and mulberry are backed by a full bodied palate with slick tannins. Rustic in style, the Tre Borri will be a show stopper in the next 2-4 years.
Varietal Composition: 100 Sangiovese
