The 2015 Chateau de Beaurenard Chateauneuf-du-Pape offers a complex nose, with fruits (cherries, fresh blueberries) and spices (rosemary, juniper and cedar). The mouth is broad like the nose. Crisp cherries with garrigue notes bringing the freshness on the finish. Very smooth tannins with a nice elegance.

Appellation: Chateauneuf-du-Pape AOC

94 Points, #58 on Top 100 of 2016 - Wine Spectator
"A beautiful wine, with dark fig, warm boysenberry reduction and alluring creamed raspberry flavors streaming forth, accented by graphite, black tea and pastis. There's a healthy dose of singed apple wood through the finish, but it's well-embedded as everything pulls together. Best from 2020 through 2040."

(90-92) Points - Wine Advocate
"Showing a similar purity and elegance as the more expensive Boisrenard cuvée, the 2015 Châteauneuf du Pape is medium to full-bodied, nicely concentrated and balanced, with classic Provençal notes of black cherries, roasted herbs, garrigue and licorice. It lacks the finesse and tannin quality of the top cuvée, but it’s pretty darn impressive."

90 Points - James Suckling
"Ripe raspberry and poached fig fruit aromas. The palate leads to black tea, red plum and fig confiture flavors."
