Product Overview
The 2020 Ojai Roll Ranch Vineyard Viognier is sourced from only two acres of Viognier vines at the Roll Ranch vineyard, and with just one ton per acre produced each year, only five barrels can be made of this wine. Once in the glass, there;s a pretty florality with scents of white jasmine and honeysuckle, along with fruity notes of melon, lime, and white nectarine. This is countered by an earthy vineyard character, showing streaks of crushed rocks, walnuts, and fennel. That palate has great tension, giving a delicately coating richness while also bursting with energy; the finish is reverberant with minerals and zestiness. Serve with a rich meal like scallops in herby beurre blanc.
