The 2018 Cantine Lunae Bosoni Vermentino Colli di Luni Etichetta Grigio (Grey Label) is from vineyards in the southeast corner of Liguria at the mouth of the Magra River. Vinified and aged in stainless for 3-4 months, this top Vermentino is straw-yellow in color with youthful greenish highlights. Intense, persistent, sophisticated aromas of great elegance, with lovely stone fruit, grapefruit, rennet apple, and a pleasing undertone of acacia honey. Fresh and vibrant on the palate, the wine's crisp, bright structure makes it particularly suitable for the dishes of traditional Ligurian cuisine, such as testaroli pancakes with mushrooms, Ligurian-style stuffed pasta, anchovy and squid pies. It also goes well with white meats and vegetables.
Varietal Composition: 100% Vermentino
Appellation: Colli di Luni DOC
Aging: 3-4 months in stainless steel tanks
