Lost Cause Häxa is a melomel, or simply a fruited mead, made with black currant, raspberries, with vanilla, then aged on American oak. The sweet flavors of the honey and vanilla are balanced by the tartness of the berries, and the oak backbone makes this a bottle to reach for over and over again.
