The 2016 Kamen Kashmir Cabernet Sauvignon explodes with strawberry jam, crème de cassis, ripe mulberries, and sun-baked rocks. Notes of roasted almonds, Acacia flowers, pencil lead, black cardamom, and milk chocolate wind their way through the glass. Loads of black and purple fruits backed by savory flavors offer a mouth-filling powerhouse of a wine. The Kashmir shows incredible complexity, concentration, and balance with a never ending finish. Wonderfully enjoyable in its youth, it will cellar beautifully over the next 25 years.

"The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Kashmir is another fabulous wine from Robert Kamen and Mark Herold. Inky, powerful and sumptuous, the Kashmir is superb. Blackberry jam, leather, graphite, smoke and licorice are some of the many notes that build. Inky explosive and full of character, Kashmir is positively gorgeous. All it needs is time for the tannins to soften." -AG, May/2019
