Product Overview
The 2017 Hawley Viognier is sourced from the Nelson Vineyard in Mendocino County. The Nelson family has been farming their ranch for over 65 years. The ranch sits along the Russian River and benefits from warm days and cool, foggy nights to produce ripened fruit with balanced acidity. This Viognier starts with a bouquet of bright citrus and honeysuckle that is followed by a smooth and supple mouthfeel with flavors of juicy mandarin orange, stone fruit, and green apple, and a finish with bright, refreshing acidity. It's this acidity that separates this wine from many Viogniers on the market.
