The 2015 GrapeHeart Cabernet Sauvignon is an estate wine from the Suisun Valley AVA, a small valley four miles South East of Napa. This single-vineyard wine was hand-picked, hand-sorted, and fermented using indigenous "wild" yeast. An aromatic explosion of chocolate, caramel, vanilla, thyme, roast beef, coffee bean, licorice, blackberries, anise, and peppermint chocolate lead to a fresh and fruity entrance evolving on honey, raspberries, grapefruit, and elderberry, lingering on kirsch and peaches. Jean Hoefliger (of Alpha Omega) is the consultant Winemaker. The winery was founded by a heart surgeon, and a portion of the proceeds goes to Women's Heart Health.

"Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon offers crushed black currants, blackberries and mulberries on the nose with hints of dried herbs and cedar. Medium-bodied, fine and fresh in the mouth, it has a good core of youthful bramble berry flavors and just enough tannic chew, finishing on a lively note." -LPB, 10/31/17
