Product Overview
Ghost Block 2019 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced mostly from the family-owned 33-year-old Rock Cairn vineyard, which is 100% certified organic, plus two other estate vineyards in Yountville and Oakville. The wine begins with lovely aromas of blackberry and ripe plum along with sultry tones of dusty earth and leather with hints of sweet bay leaf and baking spices. On the palate, alluring layers of cassis, boysenberry, and black cherry are met with subtle notes of tobacco leaf. The refined, beautifully integrated tannins create a harmonious experience that fills out the palate completely, ending with a long elegant finish.

"Tilts to exotic in profile, with mulberry and boysenberry compote notes liberally scored with singed anise, fruitcake and Christmas pudding notes. A tarry coating on the finish adds more oomph, while the overall polished feel makes this accessible now. For fans of the style. Drink now through 2034. 4,850 cases made." -JM, 11/15/22
