"Deep red ruby and purple hued, the 2017 Collusion Red Blend exhibits fresh aromas of ripe black cherry, blackberry, coffe and cocoa. On the palate, the wine is seamless, as ripe, velvetty tannins provide a rich, luxurious backdrop from the black fruits to reemerge. Well-intergrated French oak gives a hint of clove, black licorice and espresso from mid-palate through the long, blanaced, well-textured finish."

"The 2017 Collusion Cabernet Sauvignon has a pleasing dustiness to it at the beginning, then offers up a black and red-fruited core that is focused with aromas of just-ripe blackberries and a soft earthiness that gives complexity to the wine. Medium to full-bodied, the palate shows a touch of oak and spice before turning a touch tart. The wine lingers with pleasantly balanced tannins on the finish." -AM, 5/21/2020
