The 2019 Château Jérémie 2019 Terroir des Corbières is a typical Rhône-style red blend sourced from a vineyard in the middle of the Corbières wine region. Founded in 1876, the château is situated in the middle of the pretty, traditional village of Fabrezan and is notable for its imposing medieval tower, the keep of the stately castle. Terroir des Corbieres is a full-bodied wine with aromas of plum, raspberry, and blackberry, and mostly berry fruit flavors with a hint of herbs and black olives, finishing with dusty tannins. It's a great match with mushrooms sauteed in garlic as well as beef steak.

"A blend of 45% Carignan, 30% Grenache, 15% Syrah and 10% Mourvèdre, the 2019 Corbieres Jeremie offers scents of licorice, peppercorn, raspberries and black-skinned plums. It's medium to full-bodied, with ripe, supple tannins, a bit of creaminess on the mid-palate and a spice-driven finish." -JC, 6/30/20
