Product Overview

"Very solid, this sports lots of fresh bay, pepper and rosemary notes amid a slightly chunky core of black currant and fig paste flavors. The finish picks up a prominent charcoal edge, but this is warm and inviting overall. Like a cabin hideaway, this is pleasantly rustic.—Blind 2000 Bordeaux retrospective (December 2015). "The 2000 Duhart-Milon is noticeably deep in color. It has a crisp bouquet of brambly black fruit, truffle, freshly rolled tobacco and just a touch of mint. The aromatics here are impressive and exude Pauillac class. The palate is medium-bodied with suppler tannins than the aromatics augur, and austere but quite deep in the mouth, suggesting burnt toast and tobacco. Black pepper surfaces toward the finish, which lingers nicely with just a slight bitterness. Very fine." -NM, Jun/2021
