Product Overview
The 2018 Can Blau, comprised of Cariñena, Syrah, and Garnacha from layered-slate soils (famously known as llicorella in neighboring Priorat) in the prime vineyards in the Montsant region of northeast Spain. Complex aromas of wood smoke, spice box, incense, lavender, black cherry, and plum are followed by a mouthwatering, round, dense wine with outstanding grip and length, over-delivering in a big way. Drink it over the next 6-8 years.

"Saturated ruby. Vibrant dark berry, potpourri and licorice scents are complemented by smoky mineral and spice accents. Gently chewy and lively in the mouth, offering pliant blackberry and bitter cherry flavors that deepen and become sweeter with air. Finishes long and spicy, with solid dark fruit thrust and subtle, slow-building tannins that come in late." -JR, Mar/2021
