Winemaker's Notes
"The 2018 Acclivity Cabernet Sauvignon is a little reticent, at first, but with a bit of coaxing it slowly reveals ripe mission figs, black cherry, blackberry, espresso, leather, sandalwood, clove, tobacco, and a whisper of bay laurel. On the palate, layers of blackberry compote, red currant purée, crème de cassis, and sassafras envelop broad but supple tannins and bold freshness. The finish is seamless and energetic, displaying a tensioned core of crushed rock and salinity which is beautifully approachable even in its youth."
